The Roman god Doris as personification of navigation and sea trade. She sits in the foreground on a large anchor and is surrounded by various tools, referring to seafaring. Behind her, to the right, two men are mending nets. To the left rear a wooden boat is being built and a sailing ship is being loaded. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a print series about human activities.
