About this work

The volutes of leaf scrolls spring from a breastplate with a helmet and arm guards and end in horse bodies. Leaf from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 leaves, divided into three books.
