About this work
A putto standing in the water being bitten by a snake that he is pulling by its tail. Sheet from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 sheets, divided into three books.
