About this work
Two friezes. Upper: a frieze with in the middle a lion's head with on both sides eagles and leaf ornament. Lower: a frieze with on the left armor and a griffin whose tail runs out into leaf ornament and on the right a medallion with a portrait of a woman in profile to the right and a griffin whose tail runs out into leaf ornament.
