About this work
The shaft of the fountain is decorated with shell-shaped basins and children with fish that spout water. On the right the crowning of the fountain is depicted. One of 20 sheets from a series (Architectura. Von Ausztheilung, Symmetria und Proportion der fünff Seulen...) consisting of 193 sheets and 5 title pages, divided into five books. This is a second, expanded edition of the series described under Orn Cat I-319.
