Man in Eastern dress on horseback holding a carbine. He wears a turban on his head. The horse with long curly mane and tail walks to the left in a rocky landscape with a low horizon. The sheet of thin Chinese paper that the artist used for this technique (chine collé) has come to rest askew on the supporting sturdy sheet with this print.
