Christ on the cross; beside his right hand an image of St. Paul, beside his left hand an image of St. Peter, above his head a depiction of the pelican feeding its young with its own blood. This print is part of (the first state of) a series of 30 prints, consisting of a title print and 29 views of paintings and sculptures in churches in Rome.
