Courtesan in kimono with pattern of pine branches and a jumping carp, sitting on veranda, embracing her kamuro who holds a love letter (the letter is folded in a kind of knot, which indicates a love letter). In the background a tobacco box (box for smoking equipment) and a sake kettle.
