Turtles

A large turtle with a young turtle on its back, a third is trying to climb on its back. In a square inset a fisherman is seen on a beach with a palace in the distance. The story of Urashimatarô is depicted here. A young fisherman catches a turtle in his nets, which he immediately sets free again. The turtle is very grateful to him and turns out to be the daughter of the Dragon King. She invites him to the palace under water. Upon return to the human world, it turns out that hundreds of years have passed. With one poem.
