About this work
A crayfish with a pair of shells. The most famous crayfish come from the Ise province and are therefore called Ise crayfish. This reference is also made in the poem: The Ise crayfish has the color of a red morning mist that rises from the wide open sea at Futamigaura, during the first sunrise.
