About this work
Bertoldino has cut off the donkey's ears. In his right hand the scissors, in his left an ear. Behind him the donkey brays and Malcolfa runs up in dismay. Below the image a three-line rhyme in Italian. Print from a series of eight with the tricks of Bertoldino, part of a series of twenty prints.
