About this work

A collection of 30 poems with insects as the subject. The actual theme is love. The poems were selected by the poet Yadoya no Meshimori (1753-1830). The images of insects on flowers and plants are by Utamaro. Two parts (complete); preserved in a dark red chitsu (foldable box).
