Scenes from national history. Top: Arrival of Bishop Willibrordus in the year 691. To the left of Boniface a pagan sacrifice ceremony takes place. Bottom: Boniface murdered by armed figures on 5 June 754. His staff and mitre lie next to him on the ground. Two scenes on one plate, numbered respectively: VII and VII.
