About this work

Cartouche consisting of a ram's skull from which a drapery hangs with two squirrels on it, and below two cornucopias. In the center the front and back of a pendant or earring are depicted, below a pendant or brooch set with gemstones or pearls. At the bottom a view of the garden of the Château de Rueil. From a series of 12 sheets with designs for goldsmiths and enamellers. Third edition.
