About this work
A wedding feast where the guests are enjoying a meal. A man without wedding clothes wants to join the wedding feast but is stopped by the king who organized the feast. He is of the opinion that "many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt. 22:14). In the background the man is punished by being thrown into the fire of hell. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a six-part series on the parable of the wedding feast.
