About this work
Design for a pulpit with rocaille ornaments and winged putto heads surrounded by clouds. On the backrest is an image of Christ with a radiant halo; above on the soundboard, a dove with a radiant halo as a symbol of the Holy Spirit. The pulpit is crowned with a Bible. Print number 322, publisher's number 68.
