Frame consisting of two vertical panels and two friezes

Frame printed from four woodblocks. On both panels, a flower vase stands at the bottom, above which Hope or Faith is depicted in a niche. The frames are largely variants or copies of late 16th-century French and Flemish prints. All frames were used to illustrate a Bible.
