About this work

In the center the personification Error, a man with Midas ears. He holds the globe and walks away from the personifications Hope and Faith. In the background scenes from the Old Testament e.g. the adoration of the Golden Calf and Jacob's Ladder. Below the representation a cartouche with the title of the booklet. On either side of the cartouche a medallion with a representation from the Old Testament. Left the destruction of Sodom and right the Flood. Above the representation the Last Judgment.
