Two putti laurel the artist Sybrand Feitama's bust, which stands on a pedestal. On the ground is a smoking pot, symbolizing his death. Also lying there is a lyre and a scroll of paper. On the left, Apollo, the Muses, and Pegasus on Parnassus. At the top of the frame, books and the symbol of eternity, the Ouroboros.
