About this work

Christ kneels in prayer in the foreground. In the middle left, he finds his three disciples, whom he had asked to watch with him, asleep. On the right, the arrest of Christ. Judas kisses him on the cheek. Peter has cut off the ear of Malchus and puts his sword back in the scabbard. Christ holds the ear of Malchus in his hand to put it back on Malchus's head and heal it. In the background, one of the disciples flees. His garment remains in the hands of one of the soldiers. Print is part of an album.
