About this work

The high priest Hilkiah stands on the right by a lectern and reads the laws to King Josiah, who sits on a throne on the left in the temple. Behind the king stand the people and the priests of Judah and Jerusalem. Outside, a fire burns in which all pagan offerings found in the temple are burned. Print is part of an album.
