About this work
Jonah sits with a view of the city of Nineveh waiting for God to destroy the city. God has caused a miracle plant to grow for him so he can sit in the shade. But the next day the plant has withered, the leaves hang limp, and Jonah is overcome by the heat. Print is part of an album.
