About this work
Cartouche with inscription for a temple resting on a dome. Plate from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 plates, divided into three books.
