About this work
Two vines end in mascarons, two in fish heads with trunks and two in dog heads. The vase stands on a foot consisting of tortoises. Page from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and the preface and 60 pages, divided over three books.
