About this work
In the center, two putti sit at the foot of a tree. The putto on the left plays a lute, the putto on the right a violin. Plate from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 plates, divided into three books.
