About this work

A woodcutter with a bundle of wood on his back, next to a waterfall. The woodcutter Kôsagi tried to provide his parents with rice wine (sake) every day, until one day he had no money and filled a gourd with the water of the Yôrô waterfall. The gods changed the water into sake to reward his obedience. With two poems.
