About this work

Under the leadership of Jeroboam, a golden calf image is raised on a pedestal. In the background, the Israelites worship the other calf. To the right in the background is the coronation of Jeroboam. Below the image is a reference in Latin to the biblical text in 1 Kings 12:28. This print is part of an album.
