Elisha scatters salt into the spring of Jericho to purify the water. From that moment onward, drinking the spring water caused no more deaths or miscarriages as before. In the background, the prophets of Jericho kneel before Elisha. Below the depiction a Latin reference to the Biblical text in 2 Kings 2:19. This print is part of an album.
