About this work

In the foreground Moses takes off his shoes. In the middle ground on the right, Moses kneels before the burning bush above which the tetragram of God appears. In the background on the left, Moses tends the sheep of his father-in-law Jethro. Below the depiction a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Ex. 3:2. This print is part of an album.
