About this work
The Judges Othniel and Ehud. In the background, Othniel conquers the city of Debir. Below the depiction of Othniel, a reference to the biblical text in Judges 3:9 and an explanatory text in Latin stating that he received Achsa as a wife for this victory. On the right in the background, Ehud kills Eglon, king of Moab, by stabbing him in the stomach with a sword. Below the depiction of Ehud, likewise an explanatory text in Latin and a reference to the biblical text in Judges 3:15. This print is part of an album.
