About this work
The upper fountain consists of an octagonal basin with the young Hercules wrestling with two snakes. The lower fountain consists of an elongated basin with rounded edges containing a recumbent figure holding open the mouth of a dolphin. Leaf 46-47 from part III of a series consisting of 226 leaves, divided into four books, each with its own title page.
