About this work

Sheet XV. Cartouche with the text No misfortune shall happen.... The scrollwork extends at the lower left into a male herm and at the lower right into a female herm. Both blow clouds from a horn that is an extension of their nose. From a series of 21 numbered cartouches with calligraphy in a frame of scroll and strapwork with grotesques, garlands and masks.
