About this work
On the left a column and a house built under a ruin of a Roman temple. Behind it the beach with a fort and an arched underpass in the rocks. Two small boats lie on the coast. Print is part of a series of Roman ruins and coastal landscapes after prints by Willem van Nieulandt. This series is a copy of the series, which Claes Jansz Visscher made after Van Nieulandt.
