About this work
The ruin of the Temple of Castor and Pollux on the Forum Romanum in Rome. Next to it several figures and a fountain. On the road a man rides a horse. Print is part of a series of Roman ruins and coastal landscapes after prints by Willem van Nieulandt. This series is a copy of the series, which Claes Jansz Visscher made after Van Nieulandt.
