Theatrical scene with Sawamura Sojuro III as the merchant Jihei and Iwai Hanshiro IV in the role of the courtesan Koharu, holding each other's hand. In the background the orchestra with two singers: Tomimoto Buzendayu and Tomimoto Itsukidayu, and Namisaki Tokuji with a string instrument.
