About this work
A Peasant Wedding. Centrally in the print is the bride, who receives gifts from arriving guests. A notary right of her records all gifts on paper. At the tables the peasant company eats and drinks cheerfully. A bagpiper provides music. On the right background of the print food is prepared for the wedding feast, but also food is distributed to beggars. On the left background a courting couple is visible, as well as a peasant relieving himself in a cornfield.
