About this work
Manoah and his wife throw themselves down before the altar, where Manoah sacrificed a goat. The archangel Gabriel, who announced to Manoah and his wife the birth of a son, ascends to heaven in the flames of the sacrifice. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Judges 13:19. This print is part of an album.
