About this work

Jonah walks the streets of Nineveh and proclaims the destruction of the city due to idolatry. The inhabitants and the animals of Nineveh kneel on the ground and beg God for forgiveness with repentance. The king also throws himself to the ground. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Jonah 3:4. This print is part of an album.
