Paul healing a lame man at Lystra

The apostles Paul and Barnabas arrive in Lystra. There they heal a paralyzed man. The gathered crowd watches in admiration. Subsequently (in the background to the left), the priest of the temple of Jupiter and his followers want to offer bulls as a gift to Paul and Barnabas, because they believed they were Mercury and Jupiter in human form. Barnabas and Paul react in alarm and manage to prevent this. In the background to the right the sequel as the tide turns in the city: Paul is stoned, but survives.
