About this work
When the apostle Paul wants to enter the temple in Jerusalem, he is pushed to the ground and beaten by the Jews. Roman soldiers remove the rioters and arrest Paul. In the background, Paul addresses the Jewish crowd, shortly after his arrest. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Acts 21:31. This print is part of an album.
