Album with 164 images on 164 album leaves. The images were engraved on commission from Giovanni Francesco Barbarigo. They are images of medallions with portraits of members of the Venetian Barbarigo (Barbadicus) family, embedded in a frame surrounded by personifications. Additionally, a series of loose allegorical figures. The personifications are based on Ripa's Iconologia. There are several proof prints in this album. The series of prints was also published in book form after the death of Giovanni Francesco under the title: Numismata virorum illustrium ex Barbadica gente. Half-leather binding with marbled boards, a flyleaf at the front and back.
