About this work
Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it, a medallion with the portrait of Giovanni Barbarigo on the front. On the back, three small ships fire cannonballs at a large ship. Accompanying text: Tormenti Victoria. On the pedestal sits an angel with a palm branch and a crown, symbols of military victory. She sits on a large anchor and cannon. Behind her are other objects used during a naval battle. The pedestal is flanked by two prisoners of war. This print is part of an album.
