About this work

Evening landscape with full moon; people on a winding road over a plain, looking at the illuminated sign 'dai' on the mountain, meaning 'large'. On open spots on the slope of the Nyoigatake mountain in Kyoto, fires are lit in the summer during the Obon festival that illuminate the sign 'dai'.
