About this work
The candelabrum on the left is built up from a base, on which two fighting knights are depicted, and a vase, to which two figures are bound who are being presented by two children. The right candelabrum consists of a pedestal from which two bulls step. On the pedestal stand vases, decorated with leaf scrolls, lion cubs, mascarons, and dolphins.
