About this work

The True Believer (Adorator Verus) is accompanied by Truth. She points him to the radiant light of God that emerges from behind dark clouds. By letting himself be guided by Truth, the True Believer is visited by the Holy Spirit (a dove). The print has a Latin and a Dutch inscription and is part of a series on the triumph of truth.
