About this work
A man, before setting out on a journey, gives his money into the custody of three servants. To the first he gives five talents. Behind him the other two wait. A secretary records the amounts. In the background the man departs in his carriage. Below the depiction is a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Matthew 25. This print is part of an album.
