About this work

At the wedding at Cana, Christ gives the order to fill jars with water. The bride and groom and the guests are seated at the table. Mary sits on the left at the back of the table. On the left in the background the master of ceremonies tastes the water that has been turned into wine. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text. This print is part of an album.
