About this work
A rich man sits with his family and guests at the table. Outside the house on the right, the beggar Lazarus begs, whose sores are licked by a dog. In the background, the continuation of the story is depicted. When the rich man and Lazarus have died, Lazarus sits in heaven on Abraham's lap. The rich man is in the flames of hell. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the Biblical text. This print is part of an album.
