About this work
Image of a vampire as a gargoyle leaning over the edge of the upper balcony of one of the towers of Notre Dame. The artist has chosen an oval vignette with on the right this fragment of the church and on the left a view over Paris with black crows flying past in the field of view. Below the image stands a verse in two lines: 'Insatiable vampire, the eternal ... covets its prey.'
