About this work
An image of the hectic activity that prevailed in the lithographic printing house of Joseph-Rosé Lemercier (1803-1887). Since 1831 it was located in a former jeu de paume court. The printing house was one of the largest lithographic printing houses of the nineteenth century. Lemercier is probably portrayed in the middle of the print.
